This is one of the more simpler quests and I recommend you start it right after you complete the Riddle of the Vault quest. You will examine the note you recieved from your previous quest then examine the gem you recieved. After that head down to the pool of spirits room where you will have to scan the water for a little box allowing you to drop the gem into it.

The pool of spirits room is the room you got the two ceremonial darslayers from that were in the pool. Dropping the gem into the pool spawns an NPC and triggers a timer in which you must hail this NPC before he dissappears. If you are a lore person I recommend you type /log turning your chat log on for your character zoom through chat getting the update then type /log to turn it off.

The NPC basically says the claymore was taken to the barren sky and is being held in one of the palaces for study. With this information in hand return to Murrar Shar who will reward you for your efforts. For evil characters this will be returning to the dark elf that is in the hidden refuge that you met when you first came to the Tenebrous Tangle. My character was level 70 when he completed this quest and recieved a hefty amount of AA points along with 20gold coins. Your next target objective will be to talk to Jabber Longwind who is near the Norrath Teleporter in TT.
