The Avatar of Hate is located in Nektulos forest close to the portal that goes to the Shard of Hate raid zone. There are two portions to the fight with one dealing with a weaker avatar *possibly a mimic* then the actual avatar. The first avatar will put up a bit of resistance, but shouldn't be more so than the dragons of Veeshan's peak.

Dealing with the Second Avatar of Hate or the "true" avatar there will be some obstacles. You will have to deal with a knockback, minion adds, and status impairments including a possible AoE charm ability. Ontop of this he will consistantly have a buff that will damage whoever damage him and puts an impairment on them.

The main problem will be dealing with the constant hordes of adds that come when he spawns them. There are a few spots to tank him in with one spot being inside a tent in the Thexian Encampment. It is not recommended to tank him inside the cooridor leading to The Darklight woods because of the possiblity of accidental zoning.
