The Avatar of Storms is located in the Thundering Steppes close to the epic creature Cold Tooth (Giant hill near the Coldwind Griffon Station). The Avatar of Storms uses a lot of Arcane attacks so having a 70% or higher arcane resistance is recommended. Also throughout the fight for every heal spell that is cast the caster will take damage and possibly the person it is cast on.

This can be rather difficult for healers such as wardens and furies who use alot of Heal over Time abilities so they are generally left out of the fight. However they can be quite useful if they can quickly cancel their spells from their maintained spell windows.
