Veeshan's Peak 1st Wing

Zone Walkthrough/Information

At this point you have a choice to take on either Druushk or Nexona. Unless they have been recently updated they are considered the toughest dragons within Veeshan's Peak and are roadblocks to the other two areas of this zone. This next strategy will assume that you decided to head to Druushk and are saving Nexona as a last fight for the zone.

Dealing with the adds on the way and in the final room Druushk is in you will be faced with a puzzle. Your job is to pull a specific lever on the left and right wall to form a colored beam that will take out the forcefield protecting Druushk. It is best to have a Martyr do this because as soon as that field drops Druushk will fly around being released from his prison killing that person or persons that released him. Once the field is dropped you have to figure out an area to tank him so all dps can get to him and you won't be bounced around by his knockback.

This fight is probably the hardest to second to hardest of the zone depending upon your view of Nexona. You will need to position one person at each totem/statue within the room and have them be prepared to click it when it lights up. The best strategy for this is to have them constantly clicking said statue and when it lights up they will start activating it. Unfortunately the statue only has a 1-2 second error/limit window and if you wait to long Druushk will become empowered by said statue then go around killing everyone in the raid. Another problem is throughout the fight Druushk will cast an AoE raid wide attack that will damage your party members and fear them for 3-4 seconds.

Dealing with this AoE can be a pain, but there are a few items from the Shard of Fear that can make you immune to the fear a % of the time or for a short amount of time if activated. Druids can be extremely useful for this fight due to Tortoise shell making them immune to AoE attacks. However the price is it takes atleast 2-4 minutes for the ability to recover itself. Crusaders are a great choice for this fight because they have an end line ability that makes them permanently immune to the fear attack. Another problem is during the fight with Druushk each statue clicker will cause a mob to spawn and they will have to alert the off tank where the creature is comming from. If you have a healer on a statue there is a possibility that the level 86x2 Droag that spawns will attack them.

During the fight if Druushk is autoattacked his buff will activate which will do 350-500+ damage raid wide for each attack. As for where to pull Druushk it is entirely up to you, but it has been said to pull him inside of his room into the left or right corner near the doorway. This helps to keep the MT group secured and gives a shield of sorts to the main raid force. Dealing with the statue clicking, 86x2 adds, AoE fear, and spineshield buff is pretty much the entire fight. If you can get him down past 70% on your first go around you should be able to defeat him with some time and effort.
