In Everquest 2 there are certain items that can be equiped or adorned to specific items.  These adornments range from permanent ones to temporary ones for weapons, armor and jewelery. 

For the best possible information when you click on a link to the adornment master list you will see the range of adornments for that item.  Adornments range from level 1 up to level 70.  When you click on the link on the master adornment page you will be taken to a screenshot.  In the screenshot you will see the recipe list for the adornment and what abilities the adornment adds to that particular item.
